Hard Work is the Way of Life

Everyone knows that hard work is the best way to say that you tried your best in whatever that you do.
Ever since that I was a little kid I have been told that as long as you try your hardest you never have to say at the end of the day I wish I could have tried harder, this could be the difference from getting the one point on a test or getting the on yard in a football game, or maybe the one run in a baseball game, or maybe seeing the one deer out in the woods.
In my personal opinion working your hardest for anything that you are working for you will be rewarded in the end, no matter what it is, everyone can give 100 percent in everything even something as small as doing your homework or doing the vacuuming, so I think that if anyone ever has anything to regret when done with something that tells me that they didn’t try there hardest.
In my own experice I know for a fact that if you give all that you can give you will be rewarded in the end, at the end of my junior year my two football coaches told me that if I was to bust my a$& I would make first team all conference, but that said I had to work hard and have the heart to do it and if I did I would not be disappointed, so when the football season rolled around I made sure to get myself in the weight room and work my butt off at practice and let me tell you it was tough but I kept on remembering what they told me and what my family has told me my whole life, and when the end of the year came around my coach told me that I had made first team and all region it felt good to know that all the hard work had paid off and it not only help me out in football in baseball as well.
But sometimes you may not always get rewarded you still have no reason to be disappointed, as the season went on I was told that if you don’t make first team you shouldn’t be mad just so long as you gave it all you could until you couldn’t anymore, and I did and I knew that if I didn’t make it I was doing all that for myself, so that if you may not get the top reward you have no reason to look back on it so long as you went all out and tried your hardest until you couldn’t anymore.

The Lights!

So last weekend me and a few of my friends went down by the river to look at the lights that they had, man what a sight I dont think that I have ever seen that many lights in my life 2,600,000. I plan on going back down there when there is going to be a littel more snow on the ground to really see how bright they will be and I think that it will look alot better with snow on the ground.

SNOW!

So I think that it is safe to say that we can plan to have a white Christmas afterall this year due to the fact that we got 17 inches of snow in one night, but lets hope that we wont get a day or a week befor Christmas where we get warm weather as to where all this will melt but I dont think that we will if the temperature stays the way that it is going to be.

Let it Snow Let it Snow

Oh how I love the winter time, snow, Chirstmas, and long snowmobile rides with the brothers. We have gone on a few rides that added up to close to 300 miles, man I cant wait until the Chirstmas break, but hopefully there will be enough snow on the ground.

The Second Week of Deer Camp

Well the last week of deer hunting didnt go exactly the way I wanted it to go. Got up there Wednesday night and didnt leave until sunday afternoon and didnt see one deer, but my brother got a doe so we didnt get skunked this year, hopefully I can get anouther deer while doing some late season bow hunting.

Anything

This last week a whole lot of nothing fun really happend in my life, the only thing that I can really say is that I can not wait for the opening weekend of gun season!

Hunting

So last friday afternoon I killed my frist buck of my life and on top of that it was my first deer with a bow which for me was really exciting, unfortunelly the next morning I went and sat down on my brothers stand where I was planing on hunting during the weekend, but at about eight in the morning I saw a big eight pointer come walking right in front of me. Even though I was very happy about the deer I had killed the previous afternoon I would have loved to had kill that buck.

Football

On tuesday I went to Hudson to watch my highschool football team as ther played in the frist round of the playoffs, although they lost it was nice to go over and watch them play there hearts out and it was really hard to sit there and watch it because I wanted to be out there playing with them so bad. After the game I saw one of my bestfriends who I played with last year and it was so hard to see him like that after the game cause I really know he loves to play the game.

Stress

This last week had to have been one of the most stressful weeks that I have had yet, mainly because the fact that if I cant find a job soon I dont really know if I can to afford to live here next year, secondly I have been looking for apartments for next year because this last year me and my sister waited to long to look for one and we wound up living in a last ditch resort. So this really hasnt been a fun week and I have been kinda taking it out on my girlfriend but at least she is here to help me get through it all, thank god!

The White Stuff

As everyone knows this past week we got our frist snowfall of the year, talk about early. For some people they hated it and for some the loved it. But besides the snow it is that time of the year where all the leaves on the trees are finally changed, and on wednesday my girlfriend and I decided that we want to try and hike up to one of the Bluffs, so thats what we did. Just trying to get up to thet top was defintly a challange but it was well worth the hike. It was so nice and quiet just to get away from everything and it was very cool to see all the diffent colors while walking up there, I am so glad that I was able to do it with her. It was defiantly a fun walk.

Birthday Week

So yesterday was my birthday, I wish that I would have been in my home town to celebrate it but it was still good enough because I still got to hang out with a few of my friends and we decided to go check out the view from Granddad Bluff. All in all it was a pretty good week and it will be nice to go home for the weekend and to get away from all the school stuff and relax and just to go back to my home town.

Crazy Week

Wow this last week was crazy lots of partys around the area and alot of peopl, it was kinda boring thogh because there were so many partys going on for oktoberfest and I really couldnt do much of anything cause I really do not know anyone. But the parade was pretty crazy though, ALOT of people, but at least it was a nice day on saturday so it wasnt a waste full day, so instead of sitting in the appartment me and my girlfriend went on at least a two mile walk.

Settling In

The past week for me has gone a lot easier because I am beginning to get more used to my schedule and I am starting to become more comfortable around people and making more friends. It is also easier because more of my friends who are attending the University are finally here so I am able to hang out with them and get out and do stuff and not sit around and do nothing.

The First Week

So far in my first week of college I have met a lot of new people, and I have gotten to know some of them but I still need to learn a lot more though. But the first week has been hard trying to adjust to living in a different town, to moving up a level in school, and trying to meet new people. But I have a good feeling that it will all get easier over time!
